While daily direct exercise to your shoulder, knee, or hip guided by or advised by a medical expert should be part of you regimen if you have arthritis, everyday daily routine activity can play a part as well.
Before beginning these activities, if you are arthritic, make sure to warm up with light range of motion activities for whatever area is ailing you.
Here are some things you can do in your everyday routine to help arthritis in all your joints:
Walk the dog and challenge yourself to go a little further
Mow the lawn
Vacuum the living room
Walk the mall and window shop
Stack the dishes away
Park the car further away from you destination and walk further
All these things will make you move a bit more and keep your joints moving lightly. As an extra kicker, you’ll burn a few calories.
Most of all, have fun!
